This is going to be a short post for now then I’m going to sleep. Obama’s speech was amazing. Actually, both speeches tonight were great. McCain’s and Obama’s alike. I really hope the nation pulls together now after this tumultuous race. I can honestly say that today I really felt proud about this country after 8 years of uncertainty. I was in downtown DC and the screaming and carrying on had me awestruck. The noise, the dancing, and cars honking all took my breath away. People were overjoyed. We were literally dancing in the streets.

But now comes the hard part. Obama, you’ve won our hearts, you’ve won the presidency, and you’ve shown us what hope is. Now show us that we made the right choice. Don’t let us down and please carry through on everything you’ve promised.
