They kept billing me(and I was foolish enough to have automatic bill pay-I had to cancel my bank account to make them stop) for 5 months after I moved, and then they sent a collection agency after me. I explained to the collection agency what had happened, and that I had all my proper paperwork, he snorted, then he apologized. Have you ever heard of a collection agent apologizing? I called Verizon every week for two years after that , asking for my money back. That was 6 years ago, I have yet to see a penny. They are like insurance agents. just counting on you giving up and giving in. I called them to cancel my DSL before I moved. After threatening to cancel the order, they said they could come onsite 3/7. ....So I've been stealing wireless, and will rename their network when I get my FIOS set up. I feel your pain. Verizon is the worse customer service for internet. Our landlord stayed on the phone for 2 hours to change our data service...You'd never get that with cox.
